Introducing KELZIX RegBook: temperature records your inspector will trust

Every pharmacy, vaccine store, blood bank and cold room keeps a temperature register. Twice a day someone reads the thermometer and writes a number in a book. When the inspector comes, the book is what they look at.

Today we are opening KELZIX RegBook, a digital version of that register, built so that the record can be trusted: by you, by your inspector, and by anyone who scans the report.

What RegBook does

Records readings that cannot be quietly changed. Each reading is time-stamped on our server the moment it arrives, not by the phone's clock. Readings are chained cryptographically, so any later alteration becomes visible. Nothing is edited in place: a correction is a new, dated entry that points to the old one, and both stay in the record.

Keeps the gaps honest. A missed reading stays visible as a gap. A reading entered late, or saved offline and sent later, is marked as such. The register shows what actually happened.

Forces a note when a reading is out of range. If you enter a value outside the safe band for that fridge or room, RegBook asks for a corrective-action note before it saves: what happened and what was done. That turns a worrying number into evidence of diligence.

Gives the inspector one page. One tap produces the audit PDF for any period. Every report carries a QR code; scanning it checks the record live on our server and confirms the report shows the record exactly as it stands.

Works the way small teams work. It runs on any phone or computer, with no app store needed. Readings can be entered offline and sync when the connection returns. Reminders arrive at the hours you set. Door labels with a QR open the right logbook in a second.

Who it is for

Retail and hospital pharmacies, vaccine cold chain points, blood banks, laboratories, cold stores and food businesses: anywhere a manual temperature register is kept today and has to stand up to inspection.

What it is not

RegBook is tamper-evident, not tamper-proof. It makes changes visible; it cannot stop someone from entering a wrong value in the first place. It supports your record-keeping; it is not a certification or a regulatory approval, and using it does not by itself make you compliant with any law or licence condition. You remain responsible for what is recorded and for acting on out-of-range readings.

Price

Start with a free 14-day trial: no card, no commitment. After that, plans start at ₹4,999 a year for one logbook and up to three team members, with larger plans for multi-logbook sites and institutions. All prices exclude GST; every payment gets a GST tax invoice. Full details are on the pricing page.

Where it comes from

KELZIX builds monitoring for the Indian cold chain. Our sensor hardware, CalibTriNode, is going through testing and certification, and we chose to launch the software first, so that the people who keep paper registers today can start with a tool that needs no hardware at all. RegBook is hosted in India, and your data is encrypted and backed up hourly.
